Our staff began offering specialty design services as a micro-design/consulting firm in 1995. Our focus are structures constructed of earth, where soil-structure interaction controls design and performance. Deep excavations, micropile foundations, MSE walls, soil nail design, composite wall systems, etc.
Today's construction world emphasizes efficiency at all levels, making the best use of existing topography. The economical performance of geo-structures is critical to job success. Over the past 15 years, we have engineered hundreds of these projects. Our mission is to provide efficient and safe designs as well as consultation, to serve the needs of each client's project.

ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers); Geo-Institute; ADSC (Association of Drilled Shaft Contractors); DFI (Deep Foundations Institute); ISM (International Society of Micropiles).
We can work at different levels.
GDSI can provide consulting to evaluate or design structures for projects at whatever point of progress the project has reaches. Specifically, GDSI can:

- Prepare preliminary designs for budgeting.
- Provide pre-bid designs.
- Prepare engineering plans and specifications for bidding.
- Prepare engineering submittals, shop drawings and procedures for permitting and construction.
