Feb. 2010: GDSI begins design for a large permanent soil project in Missouri with Hayes Drilling of Kansas City.
Feb. 2010: Abstract for DFI 2010 Conference in Hollywood accepted. Paper will highlight performance of City Creek shoring systems. (Third paper to be completed, including ISM 2009, London and ASCE ER 2010, Bellevue).
Jan. 2010: GDSI successfully evaluates spiral soil nails for use in stabilizing steep slopes for a private development near Jackson, Wyoming. Over 30,000 sff will be involved. GDSI will complete this design for bid in April, 2010.
Jan. 2010: I-15 CORE Project awarded ($1.85B). GDSI to participate as shoring designers for project bridge construction.
